SLC Side carrier right side

The precise, bike-specific development of the side carrier allows for simple and secure mounting on original attachment points on the bike. Side bags can be attached and removed with a few hand grips via the quick-lock system, without the driver having to forego a reliable bag mount. The SLC carrier provides a secure hold for the Legend Gear LC1/LC2 side bags, the URBAN ABS side cases, the SysBag with adapter plate, and the universal side bracket number plate.

The unit is well-made, but the instructions show an attachment point that is not present on the side carrier and tell you to use a spacer, bolt, and washer. I was able to work around this by re-using the OEM bolt and washer for the rear-most pass-through of the passenger grip. This done the mounting seems quite solid. It also has a larger stand off from the bike than expected, possibly adding about an inch per side to bike width with a loaded LC1 bag. Nevertheless, Im happy SW-Motech sells these, as it allows me to keep using my Legends bags at minimal cost. If the instructions, mounting hardware, and carriers all matched each other I would give this five stars.
