Super robustes Teil

Der sehr massive Sturzbügel hält, was er verspricht. Der Anbau gestaltet sich trotz der sehr einfach gehaltenen Montageanleitung relativ einfach. Man muss halt gut darauf achten, die richtigen Distanzstücke zu erwischen. Hier wären entsprechende Grössenangaben hilfreich gewesen. Der Tankbereich der KTM Adventure 790 R sollte so aber vor dem Gröbsten gut geschützt sein. Beim Fahren bis 120 km/h entstehen keine nervigen Windgeräusche. Man muss sich aber bewussst sein, dass das Bike untenrum gute 10cm breiter wird und man sich mehr als 6kg dran montiert. Im Hinblick auf die konzeptionelle Idee dieses Motorrades, Gewicht einzusparen wo immer möglich, muss jeder selbst entscheiden ob das für sie / ihn stimmt. Die Fahrdynamik ändert sich schon etwas. Die filigrane und wendige Haptik dieses Bikes geht etwas verloren. Gerade auf engen Singletrails kann das ein Nachteil sein. Andererseits wird der Schwerpunkt der Adventure 790 R ähnlich wie durch die Tanks durch das Zusatzgewicht weiter abgesenkt, was ein sehr stabiles und sicheres Fahrgefühl - gerade auch im Stehen - vermittelt. Zudem wandert der Schwerpunkt etwas nach vorne und das Motorrad wird so noch kopflastiger. Die Breite des Sturzbügels schützt im Falle eines Sturzes das untenliegende Bein des Fahrenden und verhindert so ein Einklemmen desselben. Gut durchdacht ist es auch, dass schon Aufnahmen für etwaige Zusatzscheinwerfer angebracht sind. Mir passt das Teil super und ich findes es auch optisch ansprechend. Ambitionierte Enduristen, die das Bike im Grenzbereich fahren wollen, sollten es sich allerdings gut überlegen, ob sie so ein schweres Rohrgestell anbauen wollen.
