These robust, waterproof bags offer 32 liters of storage space per side. Heavy-duty 1680D Ballistic Nylon with ABS plastic reinforcement ensures this rugged soft luggage system retains its shape even when empty. An inner roll-up pocket keeps things dry.Designed specifically for the 2nd-generation KLR 650, the system features tubular steel rear support arms that fit snugly to the bike, stabilizing the bags and, with the bags removed, serving as an attractive, minimalist rear crash bar, attachment point and grab bar.A quick-release fastener made of glass fiberglass-reinforced polyamide on the outside of the saddlebags allows the DAKAR saddlebags to snap into place. A large Velcro strap over the pillion area of the seat handles most of the load, keeping the connection mechanism lightweight. The result is a waterproof, lightweight system with high capacity and convenient quick-release options.
