Legend Gear - Timeless Style
Updated for 2025
Real style goes with anything. Legend Gear was originally created over a decade ago for Harley-Davidsons and has since become a classic choice for sportbike, retro-modern, scrambler, metric cruiser and adventure bikes.
For 2025, we have begun updating the entire line with new materials and features. We've also added several new bags to the Legend Gear lineup with even more updates to come later this year.
What's new for Legend Gear in 2025?
New Materials
New Eco-Tech material is extremely durable, UV damage resistant and has an inner PU coating for wet conditions. Best of all, it has a softer, supple cotton-like feel.
Design Updates
We've updated the tail bags and accessory bags with thoughtful new features like contrast interior colors and double-overlapping lids with built-in organizer pockets.
M.O.L.L.E.
With integrated MOLLE panels, you can easily attach add-ons like Legend Gear accessory pouches (LA9 or LA10) or bottle holders (LA6) to create a custom setup for your ride.
NEW Tank Bag LT3
PRO Tank Ring or Magnetic
Choose between the classic magnetic attachment system from the LT1 predecessor or for the first time—you can choose the Legend Gear Tank Bag LT3 with the PRO TRS (Tank Ring System) for a scratch-free and convenient quick-release mounting system.
Both tank bags feature a top lid with a MOLLE panel ready to accommodate a pouch such as the LA10 Accessory Bag for small items or attach a phone for a vibration-free navigation solution. Set up your system for touring, day rides or your everyday commute by using the MOLLE quick-release T-LOCK along with the LA3 Smartphone Bag or the upcoming updated LA11 Smartphone Bag.
New Tail Bags
Introducing the LR4 and LR5
We've replaced the large LR2 horseshoe-shaped tail bag with the new Legend Gear Tail Bag LR5. It now boasts soft new Eco-Tech material, four additional liters of space and a redesigned double-lid enclosure with zippered organizer pockets. We've also added more convenient carrying handles—or for even more comfort and convenience, pair with the matching Shoulder Strap LA12.
At 18 liters, the all-new, medium-sized Legend Gear Tail Bag LR4 fills a perfect size niche in the Legend Gear lineup. The LR4 fits well with most types of bikes and can be mounted on the passenger seat or a rear rack. It also includes stashable straps to attach to a sissy-bar and its width doesn't interfere with the Legend Gear LC1/2 or LH saddlebag systems. It features a vertical expansion zipper to provide up to 25 liters of capacity and the same double-lid enclosure as it's bigger sibling, the LR5.
Accessory Bag
LA10
Introducing two new bags, the LA9 and LA10 Accessory Bags to expand your organization. Mix and match different solutions using MOLLE for any trip. Both bags feature contrast interior color and convenient interior mesh and zipper pockets to organize small items.
The LA10 is a great pouch for everyday pocket items like sunglasses, keys, multi-tool or small first-aid items. MOLLE straps on the bag allow you to attach the LA9 to the lid of any SW-MOTECH tank bag or add to any MOLLE panel on our DryBags or Legend Gear tail bags.
Accessory Bag
LA9
The more horizontal format LA9 has multiple included straps so you can mount it just about anywhere. Makes a great bag to mount on crash bars, rear rails or to other bags like the Legend Gear Tail Bag LR5. With 2.5 liter capacity, you can use it for larger items like an air pump, battery jumper, tools or a larger first aid kit.
